Signwaves Launch Complete Print Service

Signwaves has announced the official launch of their complete screen and digital printing service, creating new display opportunities for retailers in the region and across the country.

With thirty years experience in the industry, this latest development follows the company’s recent investment in the latest digital printing technology which, in addition to five established screen printing lines, means Signwaves are uniquely equipped to apply high quality text, colour and images to a wide range of materials. This includes their renowned pavement and forecourt signs, chalkboards, flags and banners, to name a few.

About Digital Print

Digital printing can virtually eliminate lead times and artwork costs as no laminating, over coating or mounting are required. The process, which is ideal for shorter runs up to several hundred, provides superb register accuracy and edge-to-edge printing, even on unusual and uneven surfaces. High definition, full colour photographic images and ‘lenticular’ effects can also be achieved, with an outdoor life of up to three years. Where required, matt or gloss screen varnish can also be applied to improve abrasion and chemical resistance and extend outdoor life.

Signwaves’ high definition digital print comes to life on products such as the Curved Pop-Ups (pictured above), creating an impressive large format display. Two models are now available: the curved 3x3 (2500 x 2300mm) and 4x3 (3050 x 2300mm) pop-ups, both of which are supplied with a sturdy wheeled trolley case, two spotlights and optional full colour printed panels.

Digital print has also expanded the possibilities within Signwaves’ chalkboard range, bringing these products to life with rich colours, high-quality graphics and photographic images using a durable and versatile ‘high pressure laminate’ (HPL) material.

About Screen Printing

The more traditional screen printing method offers precise pantone matching, metallic colours, over varnishing and flood coating for extended outdoor life up to five years. This approach is ideal for larger quantities (100’s or 1000’s) and for products such as the Swinger pavement signs and Noscrewz flags, ensuring their longevity in external use.

New product innovations are expected imminently from Signwaves’ prolific product development team, promising ever greater levels of choice, flexibility and value.
