Signwaves were recognised in the 2005 European POPAI Awards with a Gold award for the ‘Pod Pillar System in the ‘Automotive’ category, developed for Nissan Motor GB.
The ‘POD-Pillar System’, designed in co-operation with Oliis Design, is a versatile display method for new vehicle promotion in car showrooms.
The judges remarked that “fully meeting it brief to directly reflect Nissan’s new visual identity, the POD system also proved to be a practical tool for the modern showroom.” The displays, which were rolled out to showrooms nationwide, provide dealerships with a high quality presentation system with the functionality to update graphics, brochures and merchandise in line with current advertising campaigns.
The Pod Pillar System formed an integral part of Nissan UK’s 2005/6 marketing activity – linking directly with TV advertising to reinforce key images and messaged at the point of purchase, with key brand messages.
The flexibility of the system ensures that showroom display is always in-line with current Nissan above-the-line activity.
